Ghirardelli Chocolate Box

This is the neatest little box and it holds 2 or 3 Ghirardelli Chocolate Squares.

What you need:
  • 6" x 6" piece of paper or cardstock
  • adhesive
  • 12" of ribbon,
  • a hole punch or 3/8" circle punch
  • Envelope Punch Board

Instructions:

  • Using the Envelope Punch Board, punch and score at the 2" mark
  • Slide your paper to the 4" mark - punch and score.
  • Repeat first two steps on remaining sides
  • Using the Reverse Punch, round all four triangles
  • Fold on all score lines
  • Cut on the score lines on either side of one triangle; turn the paper to the opposite side and do the same cuts (see picture below)

  • Using the hole punch or 3/8" circle punch, punch a circle near the tips of all four triangles
  • Place adhesive on the flaps created so you can form a box
  • Place the box with one triangle facing you
  • Thread the robin through the box
    • Begin by going into the hole facing you
    • Bring the ribbon out of the box to the left and go into the hole on the left
    • Bring the ribbon out of the box and over the flap on the right and into the hole on the right
    • Bring the ribbon through the top hole from inside the box (see picture below)

  • Pull the ribbon gently bringing the inner flaps slightly inward and the outer flaps to a close
  • Tie the ribbon in a bow
  • Add decorations if desired

I chose not to decorate the two in the first picture, but decided to add a butterfly and a "for you" tag to this box.

I hope you have a great day!
