Sweet Treats Single Cup Holder

I needed a container to hold one of my owl cups so I created this ...

Items Needed:

2 - CS 2" x 7 1/2" score each piece at 1" at one end

1 - CS 4 1/2" x 4 1/2" score at 1 1/4" on all sides

1 - 18" piece of ribbon

Scallop Tag Punch or Small Oval Punch

Directions:

Create a box out of the 4 1/2" square piece of CS.

Adhere the 2 pieces of CS at the 1" score mark on the bottom of the box.

Punch the "handle" at the top with the Scallop Tag Punch or Small Oval Punch.

Tie the ribbon around the box and through the handles.

Decorate as desired.

Have a great day!

Sweet Treat Cups and Holder

I was given this small cup at Christmas time that was simply adorable.

I thought these would be cute to make at all holidays. I quickly ordered some cups, but they have sat in my craft room staring at me until today!

A dear friend "tagged" me on a photo on Facebook and it gave me an idea for Valentine's Day gifts.

Here is my cup ...

Here is the side view ...

Here is the finished product ...

Now to get busy and get some made for some sweet couples in our lives! I plan on wrapping these in cellophane and tying them with red ribbon.

Have a great day!

Cute Treat/Gift Bag

I follow Sam Donald's blog and today she posted this cute bag. I made this for my sweet daughter who loves the color orange.

Have a great Tuesday!

Music to my stomach!

I know, you are probably thinking I have lost my mind, but I haven't!

I made these sweet treats for my daughter's classmates. The iLove is a box of Sweetheart candies.

I hope they like them!

Sweet Treats!

I made these for a group of friends for Valentines Day. I placed a Dove chocolate and a caramel Nips inside.

The idea for this bag came from Sam Donald.

I hope they bring a few smiles!

Covered Notebooks

I needed some cute gifts for some friends so I went to a local office supply store and purchased the small legal pads. I had them cut in half vertically so I could create these cute notepads.

This one I made with the matchbook pattern in mind - closed and opened.

I hope you like them! Have a great Friday and weekend!

Valentine Treats

I cannot decide which I like better ... The pointed ears or the heart-shaped ears?!?!

These are going to be Ghirardelli treat holders that will be tied closed with a ribbon.

At least I have a little it of time to decide!

I got this idea from France Martin.

Have a great Thursday!

Five sided box

Sam Donald does such a great job with the boxes she makes! I needed a quick box for a friend's birthday so I made Sam's five sided box.

The stamp is from Stampin' Up!'s Label of Love. The paper and ribbon is some I had on hand.

I filled this box with tea lights from IKEA.

I hope you have a great day!

Corner Bookmarks

I was searching for Valentine ideas when I came across a corner bookmark.

The first one I made for my daughter ... Just playing around, but I think it turned out pretty cute!

This one I made for my daughter's friend. The saying is what my daughter told me to write ... Guess you had to "be there" to know what it means - sometimes only best friends understand each other the best!

I hope you have a great day!

Mojo Monday 327

I cannot believe it is the first Monday of 2014 ... how time flies!

Here is the sketch for this week's Mojo Monday challenge ...

Here is the card I made ... (not sure why the link from the mojomonday blog has my picture on its side???)

It's a little different than the sketch. I just received the Cycle Celebration from Stampin' Up! so I just had to use it.

I hope you like it and that your Monday was good to you!

Purse Box

Since I have not been feeling well, I have been doing quite a bit of blog hopping looking at how creative everyone is. I came across this purse box and thought it was cute so I sat down and made one tonight.

There are hole on both sides so you can reach in and get whatever is inside. This holds some chocolates I had left over from Christmas goodies ... I know what you are thinking - chocolates left over, you must be sick!

I decided not to "glue" the ends down. I put small magnets on one end so it can be opened if the gift were to be larger than the holes.

Have a great day!

Christmas Thank You Cards

I wanted to make a cute thank you card to let those who gave me gifts this year know how much I really appreciated them.

I found the snowman on a blog and since I have been sick and not feeling creative, I purchased the pattern from her here.

I made several different cards, but I sealed the envelopes before getting pictures of the others.

The sentiment is from Stampin' Up!'s Lots of Thanks stamp set.

I hope you and your family had a wonderful Christmas!

Happy New Year!
