Calendar and Post It Holder

Wow! These are fun to make. Linda Parker shows how to make these here.

This was my first attempt.

Linda made hers with the large Post It pads. I did not have any so I enlarged her instructions to hold two 3"x 3" Post It pads.

I made this one for my husband.

Have a great day! :)

Heartfelt Sympathy

A dear friend lost her sister. Although there are no words to take away her pain and sadness, I thought this card would let her know I was thinking of her and her family.

Have a great day! :)

Matchbook Gift Card Holder

I made this with my sister-in-law in mind - her birthday is this week.

You put the gift card piece that gets pulled out ... I just haven't been shopping yet to put a gift card inside!

The stamp set is from Stampin' Up! and it is called Remembering Your Birthday.

Have a great day! :)

Love You Tons

I made this card for my sweet granddaughter Kaitlynn. Her parents (my son and DIL) call me so she and I can chat - those days are the best!

Everyone loves to get mail so I thought she would like a card from her grammy.

Have a great day! :)

Sweet Treat Cup Cards

I made a sweet treat card where to do not have to destroy the card to get to the goodies inside, but it was very small. I decided to look on Pinterest and YouTube videos to see what I could find. I found this idea for a standard size card and I think it's just right.

I did not have any candy to put inside the treat cups for the pictures so I used buttons. I did get some M&M's and they work great. :)

Here's how the card opens so you don't have to destroy the card to get to the candy.

Have a great day! :)

Tea Bag Holder

Sam Donald has so many clever ideas!  This one is a tea bag holder.

I recently saw an idea where you take a potholder and sandwich bags to make an emergency kit for your purse, backpack, or glove box. It held band-aids, Tylenol, safety pins, chap-stick, gum, bobby pins, nail file, and a Tide stick.

When I re-visited Sam's tea bag holder, I thought this would be a cute idea for the emergency kit to place in the glove box of a car, sit on a desk, have in a drawer at work, or in a locker at school.

I have yet to re-create Sam's holder to fit the different items I would like for this to hold, but will in the very near future. :)

This is what my holder by Sam's instructions looks like on the inside.

As soon as I have re-made this holder to make an emergency kit, I will get it posted.

Have a great day! :)

Pop Up Post Its

Once again, I was out "wandering" in the world wide web and found the idea to use pop-up Post It notes.

The original was sealed closed so it could only be used one time. I made mine with the small magnets so one side could be opened and more Post Its could be inserted.

Hope you have a great day! :)

Enjoy the Little Things

I was off "wandering" the different craft websites I visit to get new ideas and found this cute stamp at Taylored Expressions.

I received it in the mail last week, but finally had time to "play" with it. Once I stamped it and colored it in, I thought it would make a cute bookmark so I made a few.

Hope you have a great day! :)

Four Frames Magnet Bag

A couple of days ago, I posted some magnets I made with the Four Frames stamp set along with the matching punch. I made this cute bag (inspiration from Elaine at Paper raft Button - just love her!).

My bag is as follows ...

CS is 6" x 6"
Score one side at 1/2", 2 1/4", 3 3/4", and 5 1/2"
Turn and score at 1 1/2" and 4 1/2"
DSP is 1 1/2" x 2 3/4" (need 2)
Flap is 1 3/4" x 1 1/2" - with rounded corners

The punch used for the button hole is from the Little Labels Punch Pack by Stampin' Up!

The button is attached using a dimensional.

You can find a video on how to make this bag by going to http://youtu.be/tk5x4Z2uhxY
