Art Teacher Appreciation Door

I am getting my mind wrapped around ideas for Teacher Appreciation Week and found an idea on Pinterest. The original idea said, "The earth without art is just eh!"

I noticed last year the art teacher's door was not decorated so I thought I would be prepared to decorate it just in case it is not taken care of this year.

My daughter helped me create these picture frames and mushroom for part of the decoration. Now all we have to do is get an Earth created and all the letters and it will be finished.

I'll post a picture of the door once we get it up!

Teacher Appreciation Week - Friday

Here is what I did for Ana's teacher for the door decoration.

They studied California history this year so this was perfect!

Have a great weekend!

Teacher Appreciation Week - Thursday

Here is the poem for today's gift.

Red is for the life you
have touched this year.
Orange is for your
warmth and caring style.
Yellow is for the way you
always make me smile.
Green is for the inspiration
you give me each day.
Blue is for your patience.
You place knowledge in my
hands that melt into my heart
and live forever!
You are a
“Magnificent” and “Marvelous”
Teacher!

Thank you for being my M&M!
I filled a container (purchased through Pick Your Plum) with M&M's - layered in the order of the poem.

I will attach the poem and voila! The poem is CASE'd from Pinterest.
Have a great day!

Teacher Appreciation Week - Wednesday

Here is the original picture of today's gift.

Don't you just love that my puppy photo bomb'd my picture!?!?
I didn't like the items being in just a bag so I purchased a reusable cup and put the candy inside.  This particular cup looks like a soda can. It came with a straw, but the top looks like a pop top can and it slides closed.

Here is the tag that will go on today's gift.

HAPPY WEDNESDAY!

To my teacher who …
Makes me snicker all the time,
Is bursting with energy,
Always shows his joy for teaching,
And is more wonderful than the
whole Milky Way!

HAVE A GREAT DAY!

The cup is filled with bite size Snickers, bite size Milky Ways, Starburst candies, and bite size Almond Joys.
Have a great day!

Teacher Appreciation Week - Tuesday

I made bookplates for Ana's teacher. He has such a vast library in his room. He can use these for new books he gets or he can insert them into books he has received, but has yet to put his name inside.

I made the labels using Avery labels #22809. I used Avery's online template to create the label which includes the teacher's name, B.L. (for book level), and Pts. (for number of AR points the book is worth).

I made the little box out of cardstock and placed DSP around it to give it more stability.

I also made brownies (topped with toffee bits and chocolate chips before cooking) and added them with this gift.

Have a great day!

Teacher Appreciation Week - Monday

It's Teacher Appreciation Week!

Here is what I made for Ana's teacher today.

I CASE'd the idea from here.

It is a Crystal Light container filled with highlighters. The label was downloaded from the site above.

Have a great day!
