As you can see from most of my posts, what I make comes from other's creativity. Yesterday, I picked up some Reese Peanut Butter Eggs. After putting the groceries away, I picked up the eggs and headed to the craft room. I decided to take all that I learned and try my hand at making a box for the eggs.
Once I started, the box just fell together. I was excited and very happy with the result!
Here's the finished box ...
For those who have asked for directions, here they are ...
CS 4 1/2" X 11"
Score on the long side at 1", 5", 6", and 10"
Score on the short side at 1" and 3 1/2"
Cut up to the score line on each long side and trim the tabs at an angle.
Use a circle or oval punch to punch a thumb grab.
Turn the CS over and place sticky strip or fast fuse on each tab.
Adhere four tabs to the long sides without the punched end to create the box. Adhere two tabs to the long side with punched end to create the lid.
Adhere DSP 2 1/4" X 3 3/4" to the front and decorate as desired.
The stamped image was cut out with the Deco Label framelits and I trimmed to top and bottom to be straight.
I used dimensionals on the four corners of my stamped image and ran the ribbon underneath the stamped image and around the back - the reason it's not straight on the left side. :/
Hope you have a great day!
